Disc space is the measurement of your files stored on the server such as your web files, databases and emails. When you have emails waiting to be downloaded, they are sitting on the server until you have downloaded them.

Bandwidth is the traffic used by you and your visitors while downloading data such as viewing your website and downloading your emails.
